I'm a junior studying biomedical engineering at USC Viterbi with an electrical engineering emphasis.
My path into biomedical engineering started with my brother, whose numerous conditions meant I grew up watching technology try- and often fail- to diagnose or help him.
This desire to help people has carried me through several projects. I was co-founder and CTO of Immuny, a non-invasive allergy-monitoring startup validated through NSF I-CORPS. And most recently for BMES DEBUT I built CHOMP, a pediatric cavity-detection tool for children with special needs.
At Khan Lab I've been working to develop aptamer-based electrochemical biosensors to track neurotransmitters. At SAIL Lab, I build speech-transcription and phonetic-alignment pipelines for pediatric speech data.
Outside of class I'm a student editor at Illumin Magazine, a Design & Make Ambassador for Autodesk, Research Chair for the Associated students of biomedical engineering, course producer for BME 502 (Advanced Studies of the Nervous System), a member of the Ethics Bowl, and a part of the Thematic Options Program, Sidney Harman Polymathic Academy and the Grand Challenges Scholars Program.
